I really dislike it when my parents have to bring up their past whenever they’re trying to get me to do stuff. For example, they always have me do all the dishes- it doesn’t matter if I was there to make them (like if I were gone for a week and came back)- they make me do them regardless. And recently I’ve been really busy with homework- so I haven’t done them (not like I want to anyways..), but anyways- I told them that I’ve been busy and it’s not my fault that they rely on me to get the dishes done, someone should step up and help…their response? “When your mother and I were your age- we had to clean the whole house with no questions asked or else we’d have our asses handed to us” it’s like..umm that’s nice, but it’s not the past anymore- parents can’t abuse their authority in making me do so much- I’m not a personal slave. I have things to do to. -___-

when he sticks by your side because he doesn’t want you to go through things alone. when he says he’ll try until things are right and he won’t give up on you. when he’s willing to hear your pointless rants and vents, even if it doesn’t concern him. when he chooses to be patient and understanding when you have a lot to do. when he unexpectedly turns over and holds you, & tell you that he loves you.

Dysfunction
So my mom got mad at me because I accidentally wasted too many tea bags so she took over and added sugar because she thought id “waste that too”, then there was a misunderstanding with who would stir it etc. so she called me a bitch and to shut the fuck up- motherly love right?
wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been put down and called names by my parents.. not much i can do though… just cry and deal with it.
